Macy's Flower Show
For more than 70 years, the iconic Macy’s Flower Show was held in flagship stores in San Francisco, New York, and Chicago. They came to us looking to expand to a new location. With more retail in the digital world than the physical world, it only made sense to take the show to a new frontier: online. Macy’s didn’t want just to broadcast footage from the show or create a sizzle reel for viewers to ignore. They wanted people to know what it felt like to walk through the show, look up at canopies of vines, and notice the floor’s cosmic color pattern. We delivered a one-of-a-kind immersive 360VR experience that reached audiences around the globe.
We took a brick and mortar show into the digital world with a global reaching interactive experience

“Journey To Paradisios: Operation Inspiration” was no small feat. In just 3 weeks, a team of seasoned content creators, post-production artists, and VFX rockstars masterfully executed the project with creative workarounds to address several challenges. While a few weeks to turnaround a technically complex project with just 24 hours on set to shoot isn’t easy, we’re used to working with a tight production schedule. The real challenge was that the show wouldn’t be ready for us to film until a day before its doors opened to the public. With some clever restructuring, we reversed our workflow by beginning with post-production. We wrapped that 24-hour shoot, completed the final edit as the sun was coming up, and delivered the finished product. Soon after, the Macy’s Flower Show opened simultaneously in New York City, San Franciso, Chicago, and for the first time ever in the digital world.
